Cooper enjoyed the excitement this morning. The enormity of it all is a bit overwhelming to me. To think that my children, my son and my daughter, will never know a world without a Black President. Amazing.

Though I know he doesn't understand the enormity of our emotions and the greatness of the day I am proud that my grandson is excited for this joyous change and the enormous sense of hope we all feel. I cried for two hours straight and I'm sure I will cry again.
I could hear you crying in the background too. One box of Kleenex bit the dust already!
